Purissima King tulip variety belongs to the Fosteriana group. The flower has a goblet shape, resembling a large crocus, with elongated pointed petals of deep red color, sometimes with an orange or pink tint. The bud height is 10–15 cm, the total plant height varies from 25 to 50 cm, and the peduncle is strong.

The variety is early-flowering, the flowering period occurs in April – early May. The plant is characterized as frost-resistant. The variety is suitable for decorating flower beds and terraces, as well as for forcing and cut flowers.
