Variety description

The variety belongs to the category of multiflowering tulips. A sturdy flower stalk 40–45 cm tall develops from a single bulb, branching near the top into 3–6 pedicels with individual buds. The plant features broad glaucous-green leaves located in the lower and middle parts of the stem.

The flowers are goblet-shaped or wide-cup-shaped and colored in scarlet, red, or ruby with a glossy sheen, sometimes with a contrasting base. Flowering occurs in April–May and lasts up to 2.5 weeks due to the sequential opening of the buds.

The plant prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with well-drained soil and has a winter hardiness of down to -20...-25°C. The variety is suitable for decorative flower bed design, container cultivation, winter forcing, and cut flowers.
