The variety «Rob Verlinden» belongs to the Greigii tulip group. It is a low-growing plant 25–30 cm tall with short and sturdy stems. Flowering occurs in the early period from March to April.

The flowers are colored bright red or crimson-red. The leaves have the characteristic variegated pattern of the group in the form of stripes or spots, often with a pronounced margin. Due to its compact size, the variety has high resistance to wind and rain.

The plant is intended for cultivation in flower beds, borders, rock gardens, as well as in containers and pots for decorating balconies and terraces.
