The variety is a mutation of the Gavota tulip. The flower has a goblet shape and unusual contrasting coloration: the base of the petals varies from dark red to burgundy-purple, with an orange, apricot, or copper-coral border along the edges, which may lighten to a silvery-white hue over time.

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and possesses a strong, lodging-resistant stem. It belongs to late-flowering varieties with a flowering period in April–May. It is used for landscaping and cut flowers, and is suitable for creating bouquets.
