The variety belongs to the parrot tulip class and flowers in May. The plant reaches a height of 40 to 65 cm. The white flowers have a characteristic ruffled shape with fringed, curved, or twisted edges. When fully open, the flower diameter is 10–15 cm with a bud height of 6–8 cm; the inflorescences have a delicate fragrance.

The plant is characterized by frost resistance and disease resistance. When used as cut flowers, the variety retains its shape in a bouquet for up to one and a half weeks. It is used in landscape design for creating flower beds and group plantings, as well as an ornamental crop.

The variety name is recorded in international tulip classification documents as an example for the white color group. When searching for planting material, one should take into account its classification as a parrot type to avoid confusion with varieties that have similar names but belong to other groups.
