The variety is a sport of the Thule variety. The plant reaches a height of 45 to 60 cm and has a strong peduncle. It belongs to the category of double late tulips.

The peony-shaped flowers are colored in a combination of red and yellow tones with a characteristic yellow border on the petal edges. The variety is late-blooming, the flowering period occurs in April.

The variety is characterized as winter hardy and drought tolerant, and does not require mandatory covering for the winter. Suitable for use in garden landscaping and for cutting, and is also suitable for forcing.
