The variety belongs to the Single Late tulip group. The bud has a goblet shape and a height of 8–12 cm; it is colored in a rich lemon-yellow with characteristic wide crimson-red streaks in the center of the petals. The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and possesses a strong flower stalk and glaucous-green narrow leaves.

Flowering occurs in May. The variety is winter-hardy and withstands temperatures down to -40°C. The strength of the flower stalk provides resistance to lodging; resistance to diseases and pests is also noted. The flowers retain their ornamental quality when cut for about 10 days.

The variety is suitable for landscaping gardens, parks, group plantings, as well as for cutting and forcing in the off-season.
