The variety belongs to the Triumph group. The flowers have a classic goblet shape, are dense, and 8–10 cm in diameter. The color is saturated red or ruby red with a velvety sheen and a thin white or light border along the edges of the petals. Plant height is 40–55 cm.

The plant is mid-early; flowering occurs in April–May. The variety possesses strong stems, is not prone to lodging, and is characterized by frost resistance and resistance to diseases, wind, and precipitation. The flowers are suitable for cutting, maintaining decorative qualities in a bouquet for up to 10 days.

Vampire tulip is versatile in use: it is applied in landscape design for creating flower beds, borders, and mixed borders, and is grown in containers and for commercial cutting.
