The variety belongs to the early double tulip group. The flower is double and resembles a peony or a rose in shape. The petal color varies from cream-yellow to nearly white when fully open; outer petals may have greenish markings. Leaves are smooth and blue-green in color.
The plant reaches a height of 40–60 cm. Flowering occurs in April-May. The variety is winter hardy. Due to the heavy double flowers, stems may sometimes require support during peak flowering. The tulip is used for flower beds, borders, container gardening, and is suitable for cut flowers.
