The flower is lemon-yellow in color, with a greenish hue at the base. The diameter of the open bud is 8–10 cm. The plant has a fragrance, and the height of the peduncles, according to various data, varies from 30 to 70 cm.

The variety is late-flowering; the flowering period occurs at the end of April – May and can last up to 20–21 days. The peduncles are considered quite strong, but due to the weight of the inflorescences, they sometimes need support. The plant is winter hardy.

For cultivation, well-lit areas protected from wind, and light, well-drained soils with a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction are recommended.
