The variety is a complex hybrid incorporating genes of Vaccinium corymbosum, Vaccinium angustifolium, and Vaccinium uliginosum. The bush is strong, compact, and upright, reaching a height from 80–120 to 100–150 cm. Shoots have a red-brown hue. Leaves are small, leathery, lanceolate, about 3.5 cm long. In the summer, they are blue-green, changing color to bright red-burgundy in the autumn.
Fruit ripening occurs in August; the fruiting period is extended, with the possibility of harvesting 2–3 times per season. Berries are aromatic, medium-sized with a diameter of 1–1.5 cm, possess a sweet-and-sour taste, and a high anthocyanin content. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and no tendency to bush lodging.
