The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the variety Lateblue. The vigorous bush has an upright habit and strong shoots that do not require support. The light blue berries have firm skin and juicy flesh; their diameter is 15–20 mm.

The variety is late-maturing; harvest ripening occurs in August to early September. The yield is 4–6 kg per bush. The produce is characterized by excellent keeping quality and suitability for all types of processing, as well as fresh consumption.

The plant possesses good resistance to diseases, in particular to mummy berry. Winter hardiness is assessed as medium or below medium; the variety is sensitive to temperatures below -25…-28 °C and spring frosts, and therefore requires covering in regions with severe winters.
