The bush is squat, wide, with strong upright branches. Glossy leaves change color throughout the season from bright green with pink veins in spring to burgundy or purple tones in autumn. Flowers are small, white or pinkish, bell-shaped.

Berries are medium-sized, spherical, slightly flattened, dark blue with a waxy bloom. The fruits have a sweet-and-sour taste with a tart aftertaste and a distinct aroma. The berry weight is about 2.5 g, diameter — 12–15 mm.

An early-maturing variety; fruiting begins from mid-July. Yield is 4.5–10 kg per bush. The plant withstands frosts down to –33°C. The variety is partially self-fertile; cross-pollination with other varieties is recommended to increase yield.
