The Bluegold bush reaches a height of 1.2–1.5 m, sometimes up to 2 m. Shoots are upright, sturdy, and not prone to lodging, however, the dense crown requires regular pruning. The variety is self-fertile, but cross-pollination contributes to increased yields and larger berry size.

Berries have a light blue color, firm skin, and reach 1.5–1.8 cm in diameter. The fruits are characterized by a pronounced sweet or sweet-and-sour taste. The variety possesses high disease resistance and frost resistance down to -32...-35°C, while being demanding regarding irrigation and intolerant to drought.

The variety is suitable for commercial cultivation and mechanical harvesting, as well as for home gardening. The plant possesses ornamental properties, including beautiful flowering and bright leaf coloration in the autumn period.
