The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid of Vaccinium myrsinites, Vaccinium corymbosum and Vaccinium angustifolium. The plant forms a compact bush 60–90 cm in height and width. The foliage is small, dense, dark green, and acquires yellow, red and purple shades in autumn. In spring, the bush is covered with bell-shaped flowers with a pinkish tint.

Fruiting occurs in mid-season. The berries are small, dark blue, almost black in color, and possess a pronounced taste and aroma. The variety is adapted for USDA hardiness zones 5–8, prefers full sun and acidic well-drained soils. The plant is suitable for creating borders, hedges and for container cultivation.
