The bushes reach a height of 1.6–2.0 m and are characterized by high growth vigor. The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing the varieties Berkeley and Michigan Highbush Selection 241.

The fruits are medium-sized, resistant to cracking, and have a delicate sweet-tart taste. Berries may drop when ripening, so timely harvesting is required.

The variety possesses high frost resistance (down to –31...–32 °C) and resistance to a number of fungal diseases, including moniliosis, twig blight, and mummy berry. The plant is sensitive to lack of moisture.
