Bluechip is a highbush blueberry variety obtained by crossing Croatan and US 11-93 varieties. The variety was bred for regions with a high risk of stem canker and is used as a parent form for creating new hybrids.
Berries of the variety are characterized by large size, distinct color, and firm consistency. The fruits have a good scar condition, pleasant taste, and high vitamin C content. The plant belongs to the category of highbush shrubs.
