The plant is a tall, multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub 1.5–2 meters in height with a dense, upright crown. Leaves are elliptical, glossy, dark green, and turn red-yellow in autumn. Flowering occurs late, from May to June, which allows the flowers to avoid spring frosts.

Berries are medium-sized, 1.2–1.6 cm in diameter, light blue with an intense waxy bloom, characterized by firm skin and a small, dry picking scar. The fruit taste is dessert-like, sweet; astringency may manifest under unfavorable weather conditions. Yield is up to 5–10 kg per bush; the berries are suitable for mechanical harvesting and long-term storage.

The variety is self-fertile, possesses high winter hardiness down to –29°C, and good immunity to diseases. Fruiting occurs in August and September; depending on climatic conditions, harvesting may last until October.
