The variety was obtained by crossing lines T-65 and the variety Brightwell. The plant is vigorous, upright, with a fairly narrow crown. The variety is intended for the fresh market and is suitable for mechanical harvesting.

The variety is early, but flowers 7–10 days later than the Climax standard, which allows avoiding flower damage from spring frosts. Berries are medium-sized, have high firmness, good flavor, and a small dry scar, ensuring keeping quality. Fruits are resistant to rain-induced cracking.

The plant is self-fertile; however, to achieve maximum yield, cross-pollination with other rabbiteye group varieties blooming in the same period is recommended. The best pollinator variety is Vernon.
