Variety description

The variety is intended for hand harvesting and is focused on extending the season into late periods, maturing approximately one week earlier than Powderblue and Ochlockonee varieties. It can be used as a pollinator for the Ochlockonee variety.

Berries are medium-sized, light blue in color, very firm, with an excellent fruity taste without the skin grittiness characteristic of this species. Yield is comparable to Powderblue and Ochlockonee varieties.

Plants possess high vigor and require regular pruning. The variety shows good tolerance to bacterial canker caused by Pseudomonas syringae and is being studied for resistance to Phytophthora root rot.
