The plant is a monopodial orchid. It has strap-shaped leaves that are light green on the upper side and a developed aerial root system.

Inflorescences develop from the leaf axils or the main stem. Up to 8 large, waxy, rounded flowers, which are distinguished by their bright coloration and longevity, can form on a single inflorescence.
