The variety is an evergreen tropical orchid with a monopodial growth habit. The plant features strap-shaped leaves up to 60 cm long and a robust root system with aerial roots adapted for moisture absorption.

Inflorescences form in the leaf axils or on the main stem, bearing up to 8 large, rounded, waxy-textured flowers. This group of varieties is valued in floristry for the brightness of the color and long-lasting freshness after cutting.
