The variety is classified as a hybrid of Veronica × media or Veronica longifolia × Veronica spicata. The plant is distinguished from the typical Veronica longifolia, which has blue-violet shades, by the characteristic pale pink color of its inflorescences.

The plant is intended for use in flower beds and as cut flower material. Successful cultivation requires a sunny location and well-drained soil; the variety is sensitive to conditions that promote the development of powdery mildew.
