The plant has a compact shape and narrow lanceolate leaves. Sturdy stems provide good resistance to wind. The flowering period falls in mid-to-late summer, and the variety can bloom in the year of planting without the need for vernalization.

The variety is intended for flower beds, borders, container cultivation, and use in cut arrangements. The plant prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils; the frost resistance zone is 4–8.
