Variety description

The variety is a compact dense perennial herb reaching a height of up to 20–30 cm, including flower stalks. The plant features narrow, glossy, dark green foliage and deep pink flowers gathered in dense spicate inflorescences.

Flowering lasts from June to September, especially if spent inflorescences are removed. Thanks to sturdy stems, the variety does not require support. The plant prefers well-drained soils, full sun or light partial shade, and is winter hardy in zones 3–8.
