The variety LOWGEKO is a compact evergreen shrub of New Zealand origin with dense, waxy, linear-lanceolate leaves. The plant forms trapezoidal inflorescences with flowers of a deep blue-violet shade; the flowering period lasts from summer to autumn.
Cultivation requires moist, well-drained soils, as well as a sunny or semi-shaded location. The plant is tolerant to light frosts, but does not tolerate extreme heat. It is used for container arrangements, mixed flower beds, and creating low hedges, attracting pollinating insects.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
