The plant is a multi-stemmed shrub with a rounded or broad-upright crown shape. Height varies from 1 to 2.5 meters depending on climatic conditions. Foliage is dark green, glossy, and oval-lanceolate in shape.
Flower buds form in late summer or early autumn; flowering occurs in the form of umbellate inflorescences about 5 cm in diameter. After flowering, drupes are formed, changing color from cobalt blue to black.
The variety is low-maintenance, tolerates sun and partial shade, and adapts to various soil types, including calcareous. Winter hardiness is estimated down to -15°C; in regions with more severe climates, protection from frost and wind is required. The plant shows resistance to diseases and pests.
