The variety belongs to the Vicia faba L. var. major group. The plant forms a compact bush with an indeterminate stem growth type. The variety is early, with harvesting in the open field usually taking place from late June to early August.
The name of the variety is based on three traits: white flowers, white seeds, and the ability of the beans to retain their white color during heat treatment. In dried form, the seeds have a beige hue. The produce is valued for its delicate taste and lack of bitterness.
The plants usually do not require staking. During growth, the variety can be affected by black aphids, and in scientific literature, it is mentioned as an object of research for viral infections, in particular the pea early-browning virus.
