The variety is intended for sowing before winter in October or November. Plants are of medium to tall height with good shoot-forming ability. The variety is stable, tolerates spring droughts well, and is suitable for cultivation in dry areas.

Seeds are light green in color, becoming slightly yellowish upon drying; the thousand kernel weight is just under 1000 g. Flowering is predominantly white, with red-flowered specimens occurring occasionally. The taste qualities of the seeds are characterized as balanced.
