The variety belongs to faba beans and is being studied in the context of their use in livestock farming as a protein source, as well as a crop for inclusion in crop rotations. Research on the variety covers the study of its nutritional value for various types of farm animals.
During agronomic trials, the variety is evaluated by protein content levels and 1000 kernel weight depending on growing conditions and the use of plant protection products. Work is also being carried out to assess its resistance to diseases, in particular chocolate spot, and the efficacy of fungicide application.
