The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group with a late onset of flowering. The crop is distinguished by a tall stem and good lodging resistance, and also possesses high resistance to downy mildew and rust.

The seeds of the variety have a light hilum, the thousand kernel weight is 450–500 grams. The grain is characterized by a high protein content, however, it is also noted for a high content of anti-nutritional factors — vicine and convicine.
