The variety belongs to the traditional faba bean type and is characterized by a long growing season. In breeding and scientific work, it was often used as a standard for comparison with new achievements.
The plant possesses a high pollination capability and is actively visited by bees, with pollen quality rated as high. The variety has relative resistance to the broad bean mosaic virus but is susceptible to Ascochyta blight, rust, and the broad bean seed beetle.
The seeds of the variety were intended for use as fodder. Currently, the variety is not relevant for industrial cultivation due to the emergence of earlier-maturing and higher-yielding counterparts.
