The Adlon field bean variety was officially registered in Germany for use as green fodder. Unlike varieties cultivated for grain harvesting, it belonged to a separate category of use.
Agronomic descriptions of the variety noted a high tannin content. At present, the variety has the status of being removed from the register and is not listed in current variety catalogs.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
