The variety is characterized by a very low dry seed weight. It is a white-flowered variety with an extremely low tannin content (0.006 g/kg), which is an important characteristic for food and feed use.

The variety is used in scientific research to evaluate chemical composition and nutritional value, in particular as a source of dietary fiber, and also serves as a reference when testing faba bean varieties.
