The vegetation period of the variety is approximately 120 days, with flowering beginning 60 days after sowing. Plant height varies from 50 to 160 cm depending on growing conditions. Stems are thin and climbing, leaves are paripinnate with tendrils, flowers are purple-red in hue, and seeds are dark grey-brown.

The variety has nitrogen-fixing ability and prefers fertile, moist soils. Due to its susceptibility to lodging, cultivation in mixed sowings with oats, rye, or triticale, which serve as support, is recommended. Protein content in seed dry matter reaches 32%, tannin content is 0.05%, and thousand kernel weight is 52 g.
