The variety is intended for use as a forage crop and green manure. It is used for hay production and is also included in grass mixtures with other legumes or cereals.

The variety possesses sufficient green mass and seed productivity. Cytogenetic studies confirm a diploid chromosome set of 2n = 2x = 12, and the presence of B-chromosomes in the genotype of this variety is also noted.
