Variety description

The variety is mid-season and is characterized by pods with a pointed, curved tip. The plant has sufficient lodging resistance and efficiently utilizes mineral nutrition in soils of medium and heavy mechanical composition.

It is used primarily as a fodder crop for green mass production, often in mixtures with oats, or for seeds. It belongs to the medium-protein varieties. Recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe, Polissia, and Steppe zones.

When sowing for fodder purposes, a rate of 1.5–2.0 million germinating vetch seeds in combination with an equivalent amount of oat seeds per hectare is recommended. For seed production, the seeding rate is 1.5 million germinating seeds per hectare without the use of a supporting crop.
