The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity category with a hollow stem of medium thickness and medium to tall height. It possesses medium lodging resistance, moderately high winter hardiness, and high disease resistance. The variety adapts to various soil types, including cold, heavy, and low-fertility soils.

The plant tolerates drought conditions well, is characterized by high resistance to trampling by livestock, and has rapid recovery after grazing. When harvested for hay, the leaves do not shatter from the stems. The forage is distinguished by a high content of protein and carbohydrates.

The variety is suitable for sowing in mixtures with cereal grasses used as support. Recommended sowing periods are late summer to autumn or early spring.
