The Marianna variety belongs to the summer spring form of vetch. The plant possesses high productivity, good adaptability to various soil types, and resistance to conditions with sufficient moisture. The thousand kernel weight varies within 35–45 g.

The crop is used in agriculture for the production of hay, silage, and green mass, which is distinguished by a high protein content. Due to its biological characteristics, the variety is suitable for late sowing dates and is effective as an intermediate crop for improving soil quality.
