The variety is used in forage production for hay or green mass. It adapts well to various climate and soil types, including clay and calcareous soils, and allows for sowing in both autumn and spring periods.

The variety's productivity is characterized by a high protein content. The potential green mass yield is up to 30 tons per hectare, and grain yield averages 1500–2000 kg/ha. The plant possesses high resistance to frost and fungal diseases, but is sensitive to aphids and waterlogging.
