The variety Itumsix (commercial name Boomgrape) was obtained as a result of a breeding program using parent forms ITUM 02-12-97 and Princess. The plant is characterized by medium or high vigor.
The berries have a narrow ellipsoid shape and a size of approximately 19–22 mm. The variety possesses a neutral taste and dense, meaty pulp. The harvest in Spanish conditions is ready for picking from July to early September.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption. It possesses good storage and transport capacity. The plant is capable of tolerating a lack of water in the summer months; regarding resistance to standard diseases and pests, it belongs to typical representatives of the species Vitis vinifera.
