The Sheegene-8 variety (commercial name Sunrise Red) was obtained by crossing the Red Globe and Brickeys Best varieties. The plant has medium vigor and a hermaphroditic flower type. The variety belongs to the first class of seedlessness, containing only inconspicuous seed rudiments.

The cluster is conical in shape, of medium density, and has an average weight of about 692 g. The ovoid-shaped berries weigh 4 g on average and are covered with a thin skin. The sugar accumulation level is 20.3 °Brix with an acidity of 4.4 g/l.

When growing, it is recommended to prune fruit vines to 6–8 buds. Cuttings root well. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, has good transportability, and matures very early, significantly outperforming the Flame Seedless variety in terms of maturity.
