The variety has a perfect flower and is self-pollinating. The vines are characterized by a high tendency to form lateral shoots and good resistance to flower cluster shedding. Cane maturation occurs more successfully than in the Sylvaner variety.
The variety has medium to high yield. Must sugar content usually exceeds that of Sylvaner. It is used exclusively for wine production, which is characterized by full-bodiedness and pronounced aromatics.
