Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained from crossing breeding number Mtp 3179-90-7 and the Bronner variety. The genealogy includes Muscadinia rotundifolia genes. The bush is characterized by strong growth and upright or semi-upright shoots. The flower is hermaphroditic.
The clusters are large, conical, and dense; berries are medium-sized, round, and dark blue in color with a thick waxy bloom. The variety is productive. The ripening period is late, comparable to the Syrah variety.
The plant belongs to the group of resistant varieties (PIWI), demonstrating high resistance to powdery mildew and downy mildew, as well as partial resistance to black rot. Due to the high density of the clusters, it may be sensitive to grey mold.
The grapes are used for the production of intensely colored red wines with a high level of tannins, freshness, full body, and spicy aromas. Sugar content at maturity is high while maintaining significant acidity.
