The variety is the result of a cross between Sun World Seedling 98127-111-153 and Sun World Seedling 94190-162-345. The flower is hermaphroditic. The berries are characterized by a red color, large size, and oval shape.
The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group. The fruits have a sweet flavor; the minimum sugar content for commercial sale is set at 16.0 Brix.
