Variety description

The variety is the result of crossing Vriesea incurvata and Vriesea carinata. The plant forms a rosette about 40 cm in diameter.

The leaves are linear-lanceolate in shape, reach 20–28 cm in length and 2.5–3.5 cm in width, and are green in color. The inflorescence is a simple spike about 20 cm tall and 2.5 cm in diameter with grayish-purple bracts.
