Variety description

The plant is a compact epiphyte ranging in height from 30 to 55 cm. The leaves are bright green, smooth, linear-lanceolate in shape, and gathered in a basal rosette with a central funnel. The inflorescence is spicate, sometimes complex or bipinnate, with bright red to dark red bracts that retain their decorative appearance for several months.

The variety is intended exclusively for interior landscaping and use as a potted crop. Greenhouse studies of the variety focused on optimizing growing conditions, such as lighting and mineral nutrition.
