The plant is a rosette of leaves, typical for indoor bromeliads. The inflorescences consist of red or dark red bracts with a uniform color distribution.

The plant height is 40–50 cm, leaf size varies from 15 to 20 cm. For care, it is recommended to water into the central leaf rosette and maintain moderate substrate moisture; excessive waterlogging can lead to the risk of root rot.
