Variety description

The variety is a tuberous perennial plant of the Araceae family. The spadix inflorescence is surrounded by a spathe of a pink-dark blue or deep pink-purple shade. The diameter of the flower varies from 5.5 to 12 cm, length is 6.5–7 cm. The leaves are glossy, dark green in color, usually with characteristic spotting.

The height of the bush is 40–60 cm. Flowering continues from late spring until September. The plant is thermophilic, does not tolerate frost, and requires well-drained nutritious soil and bright diffused light. In cold climates, the tubers require digging up for the winter and storage in a non-freezing room.
