The Manila variety is a decorative, profusely flowering plant with elegant tubular inflorescences. The color of the spathe combines white with delicate pink shades. The plant height is about 60 cm.

The plant is intended for use in floristry for creating wedding arrangements, as well as for cultivation in gardens, open field, or containers. The variety prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas and moist, fertile soil. The flowering period lasts from June to September.

Like other members of the Araceae family, this variety contains calcium oxalate, which can cause irritation to mucous membranes upon contact.
